While in high school, Chad took the ACT 18 times and raised his score from a 19 to a 32. This seminar covers what will be on the test and how to master the techniques. Cherokee Strip Business Model Competition | The Cherokee Strip Business Model Competition is designed to encourage new and early businesses to grow in Enid and to get a head start through annual awards up to $30,000. The competition is a joint effort for economic development with between Autry Technology Center, Enid Public Schools, Northern Oklahoma College, and Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Open to any concept and/or business less than five years old with plans to grow in the Enid trade area, the competition involves businesses submitting business plans followed by three phases of judging. The competition guidelines are available on the Autry website and the Strate Center for Business Development. | |

Citizen Responder | A citizen responder is someone who does not have special or advanced medical training who recognizes an emergency and decides to act. In emergency situations, it may take time for trained medical and law enforcement personnel to arrive on scene to provide help. The moments in-between can be critical if someone is injured in a severe weather event, attack with a deadly weapon, active shooter event, car accident, or other unexpected situation. This training will cover: •Lifesaving field first aid •How to properly make and apply a tourniquet •How to Stop the Bleed •How to effectively communicate with emergency personnel This training will be hands on learning. | |

Comp TIA Cyber Security+ | CompTIA Security+ Certification SY0-601 provides the basic knowledge needed to plan, implement, and maintain information security in a vendor-neutral format. This includes risk management, host and network security, authentication and access control systems, cryptography, and organizational security. This course maps to the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. Objective coverage is marked throughout the course. Confined Space Rescue | Our Confined Space Rescue Program is designed to develop attendees’ knowledge, skills, and abilities to prepare them for a range of activities expected while working in the field as an Authorized Rescuer. Delivery will consist of classroom theory and practical exercises to completely integrate competence, knowledge, thinking skills, and procedures for successful rescues. This course is designed to meet criteria outlined in OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.146. Each participant will receive certification of completion at the end of the course. NOTE: It is required that rescue personnel have appropriate respiratory protection with proper fit testing, a current medical evaluation, and CPR/First Aid certification prior to performing a confined space rescue; however, these qualifications are not required to take this course. Autry Tech can work with you to provide these items if you need to train or retain in these skills. | |

Construction for Beginners-Cabinet | ntroduction to construction technology is a group of classes that will offer students instruction on safe handling of equipment and materials and hands-on activities to practice the skills essential in working with building materials and different types of wood.
