Interlock and Control Circuitry Troubleshooting Workshop | This workshop is designed to teach basic techniques and a unique 3-step methodology of troubleshooting circuitry used to interlock critical equipment. Emphasis on voltage checks, neutrals, grounds, relay logic, PLC logic, DCS logic, print reading skills and safe use of test equipment assures immediate benefits. The workshop is 90% hands-on activities solving simple to complex problems through the use of IEC Simulations’ schematics, interlock Simulator and test equipment. Poly Manual Butt Fusion Operator Qualification | In this operator qualification course, McElroy University students will learn how to butt fuse small diameter HDPE and MDPE pipe, up to 6" DIPS, using manually operated McElroy equipment such as the Mini-Mc® and Pit Bull® 26. Along with fusion machine operation, class participants will also learn the theory of plastic pipe fusion, keys to contributing to a safe jobsite, and more. This course includes two hours of online prerequisite modules along with one day of in-person class for hands-on training and testing.
