This may involve instruction on setting up and monitoring exam environments, ensuring compliance with testing protocols, and maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
Hormone Health after 30	Understanding Perimenopause & Menopause A Free Women’s Health Q&A Evening Are you noticing changes in your sleep, mood, energy, or hormones? Many women begin experiencing the effects of perimenopause and menopause earlier than they expect. Join us for an informative evening designed to help women better understand what’s happening in their bodies and what options are available for support. Dr Rebecca Szewczak will answer your questions and discuss common symptoms, treatment options, and practical ways to feel your best during this stage of life. What We’ll Cover • What perimenopause & Menopause actually is • Common symptoms women experience in their 30s and 40s • Hormone changes and what to expect • Treatment and support options • Open Q&A with a physician
Instructor I (Fire & EMS)	Prepares emergency service personnel to deliver a training class from a prepared lesson plan. It is appropriate for company officers, training officers, instructors in the fire service, EMS, emergency management, or industrial fire protection.
Intro to Medical Spanish	This introduction class will study clinically relevant medical Spanish. Training on the proper use of language and verbiage used by healthcare providers in multiple disciplines to bridge the language barrier between caregivers and patients. Begin with improving interview skills, understanding of patient responses and ability to assist Spanish-speaking patients. In class patient simulation opportunities will be provided.
LivingWorks ASIST: Suicide Intervention Skills Training	Offered in partnership with Vance Air Force Base for Safety Week 2026, this two-day workshop equips participants with practical, evidence-based skills to recognize suicide risk and respond to individuals at risk of suicide. LivingWorks training is trusted worldwide to save lives and strengthen communities. As part of our partnership with Vance Air Force Base, there is no cost for DoD CAC holders. Led by certified ASIST facilitators from Vance Air Force Base, this training is ideal for: •All members of the military community •First responders •Nonprofit & human services professionals •Educators & counselors •Frontline supervisors & HR staff •Medical & mental health professionals Continuing Education Units (CEUs) may be available. Please inquire for a list of eligible credits. Training Objectives: •Recognize suicide warning signs •Provide skilled intervention & create safety plans •Understand how attitudes impact help-seeking & intervention •Build confidence to offer suicide first aid Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. Lunch is included in registration. DoD CAC holders must register directly with Lorraine Reimer at 580-213-5593 to bypass the online payment system.
Long Term Care Nurse Aid-Reporting Only Sessions	Utilize in person training to prepare for the LTCNA Skill and Written Exam. Master the skills to perform personal care for residents in nursing homes, assisted living centers and hospitals under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Upon completion, you will be eligible to take the certification exams for Long Term Care Nurse Aides CNA to be placed on the Oklahoma State Department of Health’s Nurse Aide Registry. Attendance during all classes and clinicals is required by state law. CPR and State certification tests are included in course fees.
MAT	This course prepares participants to become certified as Medication Administration Technicians (MATs) under DHS in Oklahoma. MATs assist clients in group homes, residential facilities, and other settings supported by DHS by safely administering medications, monitoring client responses, and documenting appropriately. The training includes classroom instruction, hands‑on lab skills, and verification of competency.
Medicare 101	The Medicare enrollment process can sometimes be confusing. What documents do you need to bring? When can you enroll? What services do you qualify for? If you are new to Medicare - or will be in the near future - you are invited to learn from Stacy Washburn at LTCA of Enid Area Agency on Aging about the process. Stacy will provide information on what to expect, timelines to enroll, what to take to the Social Security office, provide handouts and resources, and more as she walks the class through the Medicare Roadmap. A representative(s) will be available after the class to set a follow-up one-on-one appointment time with you for further questions. This is a free class. Registration is encouraged. Walk-ins welcome.
Mental Health First Aid for Corrections Officers	Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) for Corrections Professionals equips staff with the knowledge and skills to identify, understand and respond to mental health and substance use challenges in their peers. By providing the necessary support and resources, correctional facilities can help staff members cope with the challenges they face, reduce burnout and promote a positive work environment that ultimately benefits both staff and the individuals they serve. This training is provided by Mental Health First Aid Oklahoma. Participants will receive a three-year digital certificate designating them as a Mental Health First Aider following successful completion of the course. *Training approved for a 7.5 CLEET hours.
Mental Health First Aid Training	Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an evidence-based training that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges. Mental Health First Aiders are trained to be a nonjudgmental listening ear. Through reassurance, support and resources, Mental Health First Aiders talk with people experiencing mental health and substance use challenges and help illuminate the future for someone struggling now. This training is provided by Mental Health First Aid Oklahoma. Participants will receive a three-year digital certificate designating them as a Mental Health First Aider following successful completion of the course. This training is approved for the following CEUs: •CLEET-7.5 hours •SHRM-CP-7.5 hours •HRCI-7.5 hours •Social Workers-7.5 hours •LADC and CADC-7.5 hours •Case Managers, PRSS, LPC, LMFT, Psychologists-7.5 hours •CPS-7.5 hours *Other CEUs potentially available upon request. National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS) Training	Beginning November 1, 2025, Firefighters will be required to do reporting through the NERIS. This training is meant to review that program.
Paramedic National Continued Competency Program	The Paramedic National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) requires a total of sixty (60) credits of continuing education to recertify.
Professionalism for Healthcare	Build your healthcare team into leaders of the health field. Learning the importance of an techniques for time management, documentation and patient privacy, dealing with difficult patients and co-workers, and learn leadership skills.
Pumper Operator	Provides basic knowledge and skills in pump operations and water movement. Topics addressed in the course include general principles of pump operation, trouble shooting, apparatus safety, types of pumping apparatus, positioning apparatus, hydraulic calculations, principles of drafting, water supply considerations from hydrants and practical pump operation at fire scenes. This class is for a Pump Operator that would like to become more confident with pumping operations. Tentatively scheduled to include an ISO Representative discussing water supply.
Railroad 101 for Emergency Responders	According to the Association of American Railroads (AAR), rail is by far the safest way to move hazardous materials (hazmat). Today, more than 99.99% of rail hazmat shipments arrived at their destination without incident. But what should you do if a railroad car is involved in an accident that results in a release of hazmat to the environment? This class will be taught by BNSF's environmental team and is designed to train local responders on hazmat awareness and emergency response in the unlikely event that a hazmat emergency occurs. Topics that may be covered include: •what to expect should BNSF respond to a derailment, cleanup, or oil spill •resources available with a BNSF hazmat response •Incident Command structure Registration is encouraged.
