OSU Master Gardener Spring Workshop	The Annual OSU Master Gardener Workshop features professional and seasoned speakers. Horticultural topics that are relevant to the area are presented. On the Road to Savings and Investing	Choosing the right investment options can be a pivotal part to your financial plan. In this workshop you will learn to the difference between saving and investing and the potential benefits and drawbacks of each investment. Investor’s risk tolerance, goals and time horizon will also be explained. This is a free class to the community.
Oklahoma Department of Wildlife: Fishing Education (Aquatic Ed)	The Aquatic Resources Education Program (AREP) promotes the sport of fishing and aquatic resource awareness as well as a way to give youth, an opportunity to learn about Oklahoma's aquatic environments and how to fish. Developed in 1988, the program's objectives are: Increase the understanding, appreciation, and awareness of Oklahoma's aquatic resources. Facilitate the learning of angling skills, outdoor ethics, and sport-fishing opportunities in the state. Enhance urban fishing opportunities. Develop Family Fishing Clinics or seminars. Provide information on specialized fishing techniques. Autry Tech in-district students receive enrollment preference and discounts. Total costs and fees will be applied to out-of-district students.
Oklahoma Department of Wildlife: Explore Bowhunting	Beginning in 2010, the Explore Bowhunting curriculum was developed by the Archery Trade Association (ATA) to teach students (aged 11-17) basic skills used to bowhunt. The program not only teaches students how to interact with nature using ageless hunting skills, but it also teaches an appreciation of what is around them and enhances their encounters with the outdoors. As one of the first states to pilot Explore Bowhunting, the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation is excited to coordinate with state schools to conduct the program, particularly as a compliment to the highly successful National Archery In Schools and Oklahoma Hunter Education in the Schools programs. Autry Tech in-district students receive enrollment preference and discounts. Total costs and fees will be applied to out-of-district students.
OKIE811	Before you dig, it’s the law to call 811. This course teaches the importance of contacting OKIE811 before starting any excavation or digging project, whether for construction, landscaping, or utility work. Students will learn how to properly submit a locate request, read utility markings, and recognize the dangers of hitting underground utilities. The training also covers Oklahoma state requirements, safe digging practices, and what to do in case of a utility strike. Upon completion, participants will understand their responsibilities and how to keep themselves and their crews safe while preventing costly damage.
Now What Do We Do? Creative Problem Solving	Dementia Dialogues Education Series: The final module in Dementia Dialogues covers creative problem solving, a valuable tool for dementia caregivers. As we wrap up the series, we will: identify the steps necessary in problem solving regarding challenging behaviors, learn to recognize caregiver stress, strategies to minimize caregiver stress, and learn about national and local resources to help caregivers. Neurodivergent-Affirming Strategies for School & Clinic-Based Professionals	This professional development course equips school-based and clinical professionals—including teachers, SLPs, OTs, PTs, school counselors, and medical professionals—with the tools to recognize and support neurodivergent children through affirming, evidence-based strategies. Led by an SLP specializing in autism assessment and intervention, participants will gain insight into strengths-based approaches, sensory regulation, communication differences, and behavior as communication. Learn how to integrate ADOS-2-informed observations, sensory profiles, and DSM-5 criteria into supportive interventions while earning up to 30 continuing education hours.* *CEUs not guaranteed; however, certificate of completion, course description, and learning objectives will be provided to submit to professional governing bodies.
Navigating Medicare Open Enrollment	This class is designed to help caregivers and beneficiaries understand the complexities of Medicare Open Enrollment, including the differences between Traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans. Participants will learn how to evaluate their options, explore the benefits of Extra Help programs for those with limited income, and understand how these plans impact healthcare coverage. With expert guidance, attendees will be empowered to make informed decisions during the Open Enrollment period and ensure they select the best plan to meet their needs. Whether new to Medicare or seeking to optimize your current coverage, this class will provide the essential knowledge and tools to navigate the process with confidence. This is a Free Class
National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS) Training	Beginning November 1, 2025, Firefighters will be required to do reporting through the NERIS. This training is meant to review that program.
Mobile Crane Training	Our Mobile Crane Training Curriculum is designed to train workers to safely operate mobile cranes. Attendees will learn the proper techniques for inspection, rigging, operation, and maintenance of mobile cranes. In addition, they will also learn about the hazards associated with handling overhead loads and techniques to mitigate or remove potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment. In addition to classroom instruction, delivery will include a practical component for students to demonstrate and improve their operating ability. Participants in this course are expected to have completed Hoisting and Rigging prior to this course. This course is designed to meet criteria outlined in OSHA standard 29 CFR 1926.1427. Each participant will receive NCCER certification after successful completion of coursework.
