Employees who successfully complete this course should learn the common hazards of different types of hand and power tools, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and abrasive-wheel tools and how to minimize or eliminate those hazards. After successfully completing the course, learners should be able to identify the key components of a safety data sheet, including the 16 sections required by the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), an international system of rules for classifying and labeling chemicals.
