Rigging Safety for Oil and Gas Operations (OLT)	Rigging in the foundation of many hoisting and lifting operations in the oil and gas industry, but it does come with some significant hazards, such as tipovers, contact with electric lines and falling loads. Workers who successfully complete this course will be able to identify the requirements of a qualified rigger and operator and the qualifications of each. The learner will also learn about the different types of cranes and other hoisting equipment and their functions, how to conduct inspections, how to rig, lift, and land a load, and occupational hazards in rigging operations and how to avoid them. This courses references OSHA regulations on rigging and lifting objects.
ROPE RESCUE TECHNICIAN LEVEL 1 PART A	Rope Rescue Technician Level I is designed to meet the JPRs set in NFPA 1006, 2013 Edition, Chapter 6.1. This course emphasizes the importance of anchor placement and strength as well and proper rigging in order to be safe and efficient. Skills covered are: knots, anchors, belay operations, ascending and descending a fixed rope, mechanical advantage, and raising and lowering systems. Required equipment for class: Rescue Helmet (Firefighting helmet will suffice); Clean leather or rescue gloves; Work books with ankle support; Safety glasses
SafeLandUSA 2021 Orientacion en Espanol	El Energy Training Council, Safeland USA y Autry Technology Center se han asociado para brindar orientación en salud, seguridad y medio ambiente para la industria energética. Scaffold Safety (OLT)	Scaffolding is a very versatile and useful tool for construction or repair of buildings. It can be assembled and disassembled easily and can be built very tall or wide, depending on the building’s shape. But as with any tool, using scaffolding requires care and knowledge. This course will teach employees the basics of staying safe while working on scaffolds. Employees will learn the definition of a scaffold, the potential hazards of working on a scaffold like falls, electrocution and scaffold collapse and major hazard control methods. This course is intended for employees who are required to perform work on scaffolds. This course can help employers comply with OSHA’s safety requirements for scaffolding.
Scissor Lift Safety	Scissor lifts are popular in many job settings because they provide a mobile elevated work surface that is flexible, quick to set up, and relatively safe and easy to use. However, they do still come with hazards, and injuries on scissor lifts can be severe. Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to recognize common scissor lift hazards and safe operating procedures. This course is intended for workers in any industry who use

Sexual Harassment and Discrimination for Employees (OLT)	Sexual harassment is a concern for every business. When sexual harassment does occur in the workplace, it can create many problems for the victim, co-workers, and the company, including a drop in morale, a loss in productivity, legal action, and a damaged reputation for the company. This course will teach employees about sexual harassment and what to do if they or one of their co-workers becomes a victim. This course is presented in English and Spanish.
Silica Awareness (OLT)	Silica is a very common ingredient found in all kinds of products. In recent years, the rising number of silica-related illnesses has caused the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to pay closer attention to silica exposure in the workplace. Workers who successfully complete this course will be able to identify common materials containing crystalline silica, and the hazards associated with crystalline silica exposure. They will also demonstrate knowledge of the health effects associated with crystalline silica exposure, and measures that can be taken to eliminate or minimize crystalline silica exposure on the job. This course is designed for workers in the oil and gas, construction and general industries who may, in the course of performing their duties, come in contact with materials that may contain breathable crystalline silica particles.

Slow Pitch/Fast Pitch Softball Officiating	Have you ever wanted to become a Slow Pitch and Fast Pitch Softball Umpire? In this class you will prepare to take the state test to become a certified umpire. This could range from Little League through High School.
So you want to join a nonprofit board?	Come to this fun, interactive event to learn about nonprofits, volunteerism, and serving on boards of directors. We will talk about the ins and outs of board service and you will hear from professionals and local leaders about the importance of service. You will also meet with local nonprofits to learn about their mission and impact on our community. Light refreshments. Don't miss this great gathering of local leaders and "do-gooders." Participants will learn about service on a board including roles and responsibilities, legal and ethical duties, and how community programs create impact and change.
