This class is offered in partnership with the Enid-area Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitative Services Employment Essentials program. EMS Instructor Workshop/Bridge - OSUFST | EMS Instructor class for personnel that have had a DOT Instructor course or equivalent (i.e. completion of Fire Service Training Instructor I is equivalent). This is the (ITC) Bridge Course needed for initial instructor certification with the Oklahoma Department of Health Emergency Medical Services Division. This course will also cover updated material from the American Heart Association for CPR instructors and AHA Training Sites. | |

Excavation and Trenching (OLT) | Working in and around excavations or trenches can be hazardous. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports an average of 24 worker deaths and 88 injuries every year from cave-ins alone. Falls, falling loads, hazardous atmospheres and mobile excavating equipment can also create hazards for workers in trenches and excavations. Workers in excavations need to know what hazards they'll be exposed to and how to protect themselves. Learners who successfully complete this course should be able to identify trenching and excavation requirements and recognize hazards in excavations. Learners should also be able to identify hazard controls in and around excavations and recognize both employee and competent person responsibilities in excavations. | |

Excel 2019: Level 1 | What is the point of Excel Level 1? Level 1 is about familiarization with and exposure to the Excel ecosystem. Where are the basic options I am going to need, more than just the data entry? In the first of three level classes of three evening sessions each, we learn to navigate the workbook and the work sheet. Then, it is off to using shortcuts. The shortcuts in level speed up the repetitive tasks, like copy and paste. Next, the beginning of what a formula Is and how they work. We explore the shallow end of the functions included in Excel and how to incorporate them into our formulas. With two main areas left, look and feel, the learning goes to formatting the document. Making it appealing to the eye of your audience. Finally, we share some of the options that can be used to streamline the whole process. You should expect to at the least be familiar with Excel and to have increased your data throughput speed. All this information peppered with some history of and personal anecdotes that help to bring down some of the steepness from your learning curve. | |
